Seattle Atheists is having a family-oriented Darwin Day celebration/birthday party/shindig up in Kirkland, and you’re all encouraged to come. Bring the whole family — there will be games, quizzes, and all sorts of fun stuff. I think Kyle will be running a game show, and he’s supposed to be a great game show host.
Darwin Day is a global celebration of science and reason held on the anniversary of evolutionary biologist Charles Darwin’s birth, usually on or around February 12th. This year marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth.
The Seattle Atheists are sponsoring this Northwest Freethought Coalition event on Sunday, Feb. 8th (prior to Darwin’s official birthday on the 12th) from 2 to 5 p.m. Families are encouraged to attend this event.
