Charity
Tacoma Atheists is pleased to provide a list of charities for our members to donate to:
Northwest Harvest
Tacoma Red Cross
Tacoma Habitat for Humanity
Heifer International
The Pride Foundation – Pierce County
Pierce Country AIDS Foundation
Tacoma Goodwill
Dog Haven
In addition, we encourage our members to participate in the Tacoma Atheist SeasonLESS Food Drive, our year-round food drive! Bring five canned food items to any upcoming Tacoma Atheists meeting, and we’ll take the food to Northwest Harvest in the name of Tacoma Atheists.
Food banks everywhere are currently experiencing sharp decreases in the amount of food available to hungry families, at the very same time that more people are in need. It’s time to make sure that giving continues, even after the traditional holiday giving season.
